Patek Philippe wristwatch
Circ: 1969
Price: £3,750
A beautiful 18K gold gentleman's wristwatch manufactured by the greatest
of all watch houses, Patek Philippe. Bearing the case design number,
3543, this watch was manufactured in 1969 (according to Patek Philippe
records). Case, dial and movement are in close to mint condition. The
movement is the famous Patek Philippe 10 ligne Calibre 23-300, which
is one of the few PP movements to use both an overcoil hairspring and
a free-sprung Gyromax balance. Classed by collectors as the technical
and artistic peak of Patek Philippe's10 ligne handwind movements. The
watch still retains its original crystal glass and Patek Philippe winder
with Calatrava cross logo in relief.

Gübelin Geneva wristwatch
18K gold circ: 1960s
Price: £1,250
The renouned Swiss house of Gübelin manufactured this particularly pleasing
wristwatch in the 1960s. The massive circular 18K gold case has hidden
strap lugs and the Gübelin logo to the winder. A good quality 17 Jewel
movement (marked Gübelin) finishes the watch. This would have been a
stylish and expensive timepiece back in the 1960s...some things don't
change !

Rolex wristwatch
Precision mechanical Rolex in stainless steel & rose gold
Price: £1,250
A very pleasing example of 1960s wristwatch from the watch brand that
everyone remembers. Typical Oyster style stainless steel case with a
milled rose gold bezel ring, bearing raised hour markers. The engine
turned champagne dial bears attached rose gold hour markers along with
the Rolex crown at 12.00. The screw tight gold winder bears the raised
words, 'Oyster Patent', and the case back is also an Oyster screw fitting.
The seventeen jewel movement is fully marked to Rolex and remains in
excellent condition. Fully working, but would need to be checked by
a service agent if it is required to be guaranteed waterproof.

Cartier wristwatch
Gentleman's mechanical watch circ: 1970
Price: £675
One of the earliest examples of Cartier's more 'inexpensive' range of
wristwatches, later to come together under the umbrella name of 'Le
Must' collection. This piece has an 18K plated case with a hidden winder
and with a case design number 372. The movement is a basic seventeen
jewel Swiss movement marked Cartier to the bridge. The dial is a nicely
produced brown enamel dial (pre-security name at the '8') with golden
numerals. The watch strap has been replaced, but the Cartier gold plated
buckle is still present. Overall excellent condition, and a rare mechanical
Cartier wristwatch to find.
