© ALL IMAGES COPYRIGHT THE JENSEN FF MUSEUM & ARCHIVE When
you feel your years of Jensen FF custodianship have come to an end, THE CARS ARE SHOWN IN CHASSIS NUMBER ORDER SO MAKE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN "I
look forward to hearing from anyone with a Jensen FF car for sale."
CHASSIS NUMBER: 119/090 REGISTRATION NUMBER: WLP 21G 119/090 is for sale to a buyer wishing to undertake colour choice and
final finishing themselves. The car has been the subject of body restoration
work, which means the car is generally rust free, with all the major areas
of rusting having been replaced . Work has included all chassis repairs,
including main chassis tubes, and also new outer sills. The body is currently
painted in primer. Interior is complete and in very good condition, even
the original Jensen '8' track/radio is still present. Most of the electrics
are working, and the car starts up and idles well.
119/085 is for sale presently requiring restoration of the bodywork.
Work definately required will be lower panelwork all the way around. Front
wheel arches are free from rust as indeed (and more importantly) is the
bonnet. The car was used on the road up until the middle to late 1990s,
but has not been used since that time. Much work and detailing had been
undertaken to the engine bay which is still clean and tidy. 119/085 starts
and runs, can move backwards and forwards and brakes work.
Update: Once with its new owner, some of the long term renovation work started immediately. During this work, it was found that the chassis number (provided visually from the interior cubby hole chassis plate) was incorrect. The actual chassis number of the car was 119/097, and it seems that the entire interior was replaced with one from 119/76 (leading us to wonder if 119/076 has been scrapped long ago).
![]() CHASSIS NUMBER: 119/059 REGISTRATION NUMBER: NCJ 300G PRICE: SOLD Originally mist grey with black interior, 119/059 was restored bodily
and resprayed red during the early 1980s. Successive owners have looked
after the car and used it on a regular (but not excessive) basis. This
regular maintenance has continued to the present day, which means recommissioning
is not required. A large history file has been maintained for 119/059
and previous MOT certificates dating back to the late 1980s are also present.119/059
appeared in the October 2005 edition of Classics Monthly, and was
also used as the front cover image of Jensen Interceptor Ultimate Portfolio
1966 - 1992.
CHASSIS NUMBER: 119/058 REGISTRATION NUMBER: RRF 444G
119/058 is finished in California Sage with Mist Grey roof and beige trim (the original specification from the factory). The car has had five owners from new and is showing a genuine mileage of just under 80,000 miles. The body was restored at the beginning of the 1990s, and is still holding up well today. On going maintenance means that mechanically the car is healthy, and is currently holding an MOT which expires March 2011. Various MOT certificates are retained within the history file ( back to 1997), along with invoices for work (also from 1997). The present owner purchased 119/058 in 1997, and the car is only for sale now due to his advancing age. Update:After being sold, 119/059 was transported to France for its new owner and shares accomodation with a small collection of classic cars.
CHASSIS NUMBER: 119/022 REGISTRATION NUMBER: BTU 16F PRICE: £27,750- Still retaining its stunning original colour scheme of crystal blue with dark blue leather trim, 119/022 has an excellent pedigree from new. The car was ordered in 1967 by Lieutenant Colonel Richard Seifert, the famous 1960s architect (the company is still run by his son). After disposal in the early 1980s the next owner was a 'turnaround' man for a brewery. In 1987, 119/022 was put into auction and purchased by the newspaper magnate, Eddie Shah. Work was undertaken to the car by Jensen Parts & Service, including replacing the old Dunlop braking system for an updated Girling system. The car was kept within Shah's collection until 1990, when he was forced to sell the collection via Sothebys auction house. The new owner was an Aston Martin collector, who had a boyhood dream to own a Jensen FF. From 1990 until recently, the FF shared room with this leading collection of Aston Martin cars. 119/022 has been well maintained throughout the decades, and this shows through in the general condition of the car today. It is not concours, but has survived in extremely good order. The body is rust free and the interior is original with a good patina. The history file includes MOTs going back to 1989, a copy of an old registration document confirming ownership by Shah's Messenger Newspaper Group, along with various assorted invoices. The car currently has a valid MOT and is ready for its next custodian. Contact Ulric Woodhams on 00-44-(0)1694-781354 email: archive@thejensenff.com
CHASSIS NUMBER: 119/006 REGISTRATION NUMBER: LJU 808E
Finished in mist grey with black interior (original colour crystal blue), 119/006 remains one of the few possibilities today of adding a Vignale manufactured Jensen FF to your collection. The car has survived in very good overall condition, with many of the Vignale build characterictics still in place, such as the deep inset front wings, and interior trim with the wood veneer panel work. The present custodian has owned the car for the last six years, in which time he has commissioned the car for road use including fully reconditioning the gearbox. Mileage indicated currently stands at just over 82,000 miles and the car has an MOT which runs out at the end of November 2011 (the car will be sold with a fresh MOT). Some cosmetic work will be required to bring the car up to standard, and this might lead a would be owner to think about a full respray back to the car's original colour of crystal blue. ![]() 1948 HARRY FERGUSON TRACTOR CHASSIS NUMBER: TEA 60417, REGISTRATION NUMBER: GUN 826 PRICE: SOLD This would make an excellent stablemate with your Jensen FF, an original
Harry Ferguson tractor ( and a very useful addition to, if you have land).
This example requires restoration, although this process is made easy
since everything is readily available, and at very realistic prices. All
the metal work is in good condition, including the main hood. Contact Ulric Woodhams on 00-44-(0)1694-781354 email: archive@thejensenff.com
This is without doubt the most important W129 500 SL outside of the Daimler
Museum, Stuttgart. Manufactured in 1989, this example was one of two 500
SLs, produced as prototypes in 1989 and made available for the Lyon Press
Launch of the W129 model. The press day came to an exciting end when two
motoring journalists were driving the 500 SLs with the convertible roofs
down. By complete accident, one journalist misjudged the road, causing
the car to flip over and crash. Luckily for the journalist, the brand
new latest technology roll bar sprang up in the required nano second,
allowing the journalist to survive his ordeal. The wrecked car was transported
back to Mercedes-Benz, and it is unknown what has happened to that car
since. The other car was used for the Paris Motor Show, and afterwards
was shipped over to the UK where it was used for marketing purposes. Mercedes-Benz
disposed of the car in 1990. The car has been maintained in close to concours condition
and has completed less than 60,000 miles from new with full service history.
The car, finished in its original blue/black paint with mushroom leather,
comes complete with a large amount of paperwork. The UOE 99 registration is not included with the car.
