119/140 is for sale presently requiring complete restoration of the bodywork.
Jensen Owners' Club member Joe Morrow purchased the car in 1989, and used
the car daily between 1989 and 1990, after which the car was started occasionally
and remained garaged, awaiting restoration work when Morrow retired. By
2004 Morrow became concerned about the extent of rusting, and realising
the work required would be far beyond his capabilities, sold the car to
Paul Banham Conversions. Once in Banham's ownership, the car was placed
in an industrial unit and left. By 2007, Banham's circumstances had changed,
and realising he would not restore the car, a decision was made to dismantle
the car for parts. We were contacted by Banham, asking if we would be
interested to buy any of the parts, an agreement was made to purchase
the entire car hopefully saving it for someone who will be willing to
restore it. Rust has taken over everywhere, even the roof has rusted,
caused initially through a leaking Webasto sunroof. So basically the car
will only suit someone who wishes to start fresh and largely repanel the
car. On a plus point, all the four-wheel-drive system and mechanicals
are still present, and Morrow stated the car drove very well, up to 2004
when he sold it. Presently the engine is capable of firing up and is very
healthy, and the car can move forwards and backwards.
